FRIDAY EVENING QUICKIESNo liberal bias? I think you'll enjoy this one. And if there's a left wing equivalent somebody let me know.
This one needs no comment from me. CNN in the NY Times! Click here and enjoy.
And here's a late entry for Sh1ts@ck of the week:
CAMP PENDLETON, Calif., April 10 (UPI) -- Wives of Camp Pendleton Marines involved in the war in Iraq have been receiving crank calls from individuals claiming to work for the Red Cross who regretfully, and falsely, inform them that their spouses had been killed in action.
Iraqi agents were planning to blow up a hotel in northern Iraq last month. Appears the war and the Kurds may have derailed their plan. CNN fails to say thanks. Guess they thought they deserved it.
And CNN got the confession tape? That'd probably get your case dismissed in America.
Didn't know whether to call this one "truth is the first casualty of war" or "why we can't 'win' the search for weapons." As Rush said, even if we found a stack of nukes, some would just use them as proof of how wonderful Saddam was for not using them. Saddam Hussein was a weapon of mass destruction.
And get ready to learn how much worse Ahmed Chalabi will be for Iraq then Saddam ever was. The left has had this guy in their sights for a long time. I'm not claiming a 'vast, left wing conspiracy' or anything like that here. In fact, even mainstream outlet CNN is beginning to turn on him! (Did you catch the sarcasm?) And all I've done here is link about 4 of the top 5 results of a Google search.
Mr Chalabi is cursed for having lived in America. And I even found an article that calls him a neocon! (Gasp!)
Good luck, sir! If these are your enemies that's all the credentials I need.
